Invitations & Collaborations

Good People Doing Good Things

Teaching. Facilitating. Speaking. Creating. Collaborating. In service of a more conscious, compassionate and connected world.

Let's Create Something Meaningful Together

While much of my work happens one-to-one, some of the most meaningful experiences of my professional life have happened in groups, communities and collaborations.

I welcome invitations to teach, speak, facilitate and collaborate with retreat centers, studios, communities, organizations and fellow practitioners around the world.

Over the years, I've shared meditation, mindfulness, yoga, personal development and related contemplative and wellness practices in many different settings and formats — from intimate workshops and silent retreats to teacher trainings, talks and larger gatherings.

I value opportunities to share what I've learned, exchange ideas and perspectives, and work alongside good people doing worthwhile things.

Sometimes that means bringing something I've taught many times before. Sometimes it means creating something specifically for a particular community or occasion. And sometimes the most interesting possibilities don't fit neatly into a category at all.

Teaching

I've taught meditation and mindfulness, yoga and contemplative practice, personal development and embodied awareness in studios, retreat centers, teacher trainings and communities around the world.

For many years, much of that work happened through yoga. As co-founder of the School of Sacred Arts, I helped develop and facilitate yoga teacher trainings internationally, including many years of programs associated with The Yoga Barn in Bali.

These days, my teaching tends to be quieter and less about mastering a particular system, and more about practices that help us slow down, become present, listen more carefully and encounter ourselves more directly.

Retreats & Workshops

There is something possible when people deliberately step outside the ordinary momentum of life.

A few hours can create space. A day can change perspective. Several days of silence can reveal an entirely different relationship with ourselves.

I've spent a significant portion of my adult life participating in, creating and facilitating retreats, workshops and immersive learning experiences.

I'm particularly drawn to gatherings that leave enough room for silence, Nature, reflection and genuine experience rather than filling every available moment with content.

They can be a few hours, a day, a weekend or longer. The format matters less than creating the right conditions for something meaningful to happen.

Speaking & Conversations

Not everything needs to be a workshop.

I'm also available for talks, interviews, podcasts, panels and conversations where a different kind of exchange is appropriate.

The territory I'm most interested in is the territory I've spent much of my life exploring: spirituality, meditation, personal development, yoga, natural health and wellness, the body, Nature, consciousness, psychedelics, meaning, change, and what it means to live a human life with greater awareness.

I don't necessarily arrive with definitive answers. I'm much more interested in a good question and a genuine conversation.

Collaboration

Some of the work I've valued most has happened because someone said:
"I have an idea..."

I've spent much of my professional life creating things with other people — wellness programs, studios, retreats, teacher trainings, workshops, communities and other projects that began as conversations before anyone knew exactly what they would become.

If you're a teacher, practitioner, retreat leader, organization, community or simply someone doing something you care deeply about, and you sense that our interests or experience might intersect, I'm open to hearing what you have in mind.

It doesn't need to resemble something I've done before.

Something Else?

You may have noticed that I don't particularly like boxes.

So if what you're imagining isn't described anywhere on this page, that isn't necessarily a problem.

Tell me what you're thinking.
Where is it? Who will be there?
What are you hoping to create?
And why do you think I might be useful?
We can start there.
